CHARLIE JONES

TruePen Coaching is led by Charlie Jones who founded the practice in 2014. Charlie’s coaching practice is distinguished by an emphasis on relationship skills and leadership fundamentals, a willingness to challenge his clients, and a belief that the path to mastery is paved with self-awareness and dedicated practice.

Charlie is an International Coaching Federation Professionally Certified Coach (PCC) and a graduate of the Georgetown Institute for Transformational Leadership. Charlie has thousands of hours of coaching experience working with leaders from Fortune 100 companies, Government Agencies and leading nonprofits to help them align personal mission with organizational strategy.

Charlie is also President and founder of Brand Intersection Group, where he has been instrumental in building leading brands including Waterloo, Sweetgreen, Whole30, SoulCycle, Super Coffee, Amazon Pay, Sir Kensington’s and Marriott. Charlie taught as an adjunct faculty member at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business for 11 years, winning the University’s highest honor for Adjunct Faculty Teaching Excellence. Charlie has been married for more than 30 years to his wife Meg and has four sons. He’s happiest in a river with a fly rod in his hand.
