Robert Morton
Robert’s true north as a coach is to help leaders with the hard and rewarding work of building “new” in their life, career, community and the world. A purpose he comes to having experienced the wilds of the leader's chair himself as well as the powerful difference a coaching partnership can make in seeing your world from a new perch with new possibilities for growth.
Inveterately curious, Robert is animated by this wonderful reality we’ve come to understand about our brains...that we’re not finished objects at any age. We have the capacity to grow, to become anew, for as long as we wish to access and cultivate that capacity. So as a coach he delights in helping leaders look with fresh eyes on the progress they can make, observe their relationships in new ways and author new pathways to the outcomes they want.
Robert comes to coaching from a couple decades building teams and organizations as a Co-founder and Exec team member across the spectrum from venture-backed startup to publicly traded global leader. A graduate of the ICF-accredited coaching program at Georgetown University's Institute for Transformational Leadership, he’s also served as a Board Director in the non-profit and software arenas and runs customer insights consultancy Highland Insights.
When not coaching, he’s likely to be hanging out with his wife and three daughters, building something with his hands, moving/hiking somewhere, sitting in a sauna or trying out various wellbeing increasers like breathwork and dipping into very cold bodies of water.
